Breakfast Casserole 1 loaf of Italian Bread 1lb ground sausage 1 tsp. dried mustard 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 8-12 eggs 1 cup milk 1 cup shredded cheese your choice I use Colby Jack Preheat oven to 350. Spray or wipe your 9x13 baking pan with oil. Brown your sausage in a skillet. Tear Italian bread into pieces in your baking pan then sprinkle your browned sausage over your bread, make sure to spread out the sausage evenly. In a bowl mix your eggs, dry mustard, milk and salt and pepper; Mix well and pour over your bread and sausage. Cover with foil and let set in your refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350 for 35-40 mins or until cooked through. 15 mins before you take out your casserole sprinkle with cheese. My kids love this for dinner! |
