Today was pretty uneventful, I was really wanting to go to the Farmers Market this morning but this weekend is Lake Festival here it was awful we couldn't even get a parking place close enough without walking a half mile in 106 degree heat I just said nah and we went home to gather coupons and go to the grocery store. They had a great sale on their produce so we got lots of stuff. I am wanting to make cucumber salad so I got some cucumbers and some zucchini and last but not least some really nice bell peppers. I wanted some cantaloupes they were 2/5.00 but I would be the only one eating them and didn't want any to go to waste, they had sample and they sure were sweet *sighs*.

Now I am looking for a few recipes for cucumber salad and something to make with the zucchini so that the kids do not know it is actually a zucchini. They helped unpack groceries today so they know they are in the fridge but will be quickly forgotten because they figured out of sight out of mind. So they will be surprised to see them gone and puddin face grin on me when they find out they actually ate it.
