Share So this morning we got up early I had my coffee and we left out for the farmers market here in town. It is not very big 3 vendors total but the food was fantastic looking and I was so glad I got up early this morning. 1 vendor was someone selling honey looked great but pricey I am sure very much worth the money but we are on a budget this week. Next totally organic produce he had beautiful carrots and some green beans again pricey but hoping to be able to try his stuff out next Saturday. Then a couple who had some great looking produce and looked as though they grew everything themselves they had some great looking watermelons small little round things she asked me if I wanted to try a yellow watermelon sure I love watermelon and I will try anything once and wow YUM very sweet and so juicy so I bought 2 and some awesome looking green peppers 3/1.00. Next booth was Amish cakes and cookies and pies homemade of course but 7.00 for a 8" pie I thought to myself as much as a homemade cherry pie sounds I could totally make a cobbler later for dessert I got Bisquick! Last but not least Bowman Produce has a stand family ran great flowers and produce and have various stand set up around Ohio beautiful produce next time I hope to take my camera because wow, so they had some beautiful green beans and I ended up getting 2 lbs and I am going to freeze them for winter nothing like a huge pot of green beans, ham and potatoes to warm your belly when it is cold out. Oh I almost forgot the peaches they looked awesome and I will be using them in some smoothies later. So here is my farmers market loot
